My child is able to change in and out of their swimming wear unaided.
Following our swimming risk assessment, if a pupil needs assistance, two staff members will be in the changing rooms to assist a pupil who is in urgent need of support with changing, in line with safeguarding procedures. Staff will not dress or change pupils, but will help based on the pupils’ age and ability. I acknowledge that two staff members will be present in the changing rooms, if a situation arises.
On completion of this order, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you have read, understood and accepted all the information and expectations for the 6 weeks of swimming lessons.

Description

Exciting news! Years R-2 will be having swimming lessons in the Summer Term at Bishops Waltham Community Pool on Wednesdays. The first group will start on Wednesday 15th April and the second group will start on Wednesday 20th May.

The lessons will be delivered by Mrs Trevett, an experienced swimming instructor, alongside Mrs Lomath, who also has a background in swimming instruction. Both hold the STA Safety Award for Teachers qualification. They will be supported by Mrs Freemantle and Mrs Kinchin.

Pupils will be grouped by ability and enjoy a 1 hour session for 5 weeks.

Kit List:

  • Swimming costume/swim shorts
  • Goggles
  • Towel

There is no additional cost as the swimming lessons are covered by the Enrichment fee.
