Description

As part of our Heart Concept: God who made everything, this special day will help our children explore the amazing world God has created, focusing on animals and life on the farm. It also links beautifully with our Understanding the World area of learning.

Led by Mrs Trevett and supported by two additional adults, the children will enjoy a full day of fun and learning surrounded by animals and nature. They’ll take part in a range of exciting hands-on experiences such as:

  • Feeding goats, kids, and calves
  • Handling fluffy chicks and stroking guinea pigs
  • Enjoying (weather permitting!) a ride on a tractor trailer

We will be travelling to and from the farm in the school minibus. Drop off and pick up times remain the same as a normal school day.

Cost: This trip is included in the Enrichment Fee and has no additional cost.

What your child will need on the day:

  • School t-shirt and jumper
  • Comfortable leggings, tracksuit bottoms or shorts
  • Suitable clothing for the weather (e.g. sun hat or raincoat)
  • Trainers or closed-toe shoes – no sandals please
  • A packed lunch (with a few snacks)
  • A refillable water bottle
  • A small rucksack to carry their belongings
  • Sun cream applied before school – and a named bottle of sun cream in their bag if hot weather is expected

This promises to be a fantastic and memorable trip, full of discovery and delight! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Mrs Trevett.
