Description
Year 3 & 4 Trip to Fishbourne Palace
Thursday 12th March | During Normal School Hours
Year 3 and Year 4 pupils will be visiting Fishbourne Palace as part of their learning about the Romans this term. This carefully planned educational visit will give pupils the opportunity to step back in time and explore one of the most important Roman sites in Britain.
During the visit, pupils will take part in a workshop with hands-on activities, encouraging them to reflect on the lives of people in Roman times and to consider how community and daily life shaped society. Pupils will also explore the Roman ruins, including outstanding examples of original Roman mosaics. This experience will help to bring classroom learning to life and deepen pupils’ understanding of the lasting impact the Romans have had on our world today.
The visit will take place during normal school hours.
