🎭 Step Into Shakespeare’s Verona! – Romeo and Juliet Live
Set in the heat of Verona and filled with drama, conflict and emotion, this performance will bring one of the GCSE texts to life in a vivid and unforgettable way. We’re thrilled to offer pupils an unmissable opportunity to see Romeo and Juliet live at the Theatre Royal Winchester!

Who Can Go?
- Year 11: Pupils currently in Year 11 have studied the play as part of their GCSE English Literature course. They will be required to sit an exam question on this text in their final exam in May next year. In preparation for this, we would like to encourage them to watch the play being performed at the Winchester Theatre Royal.
- Year 10: As part of their GCSE English Literature course, pupils in Year 10 will study the play in March. They will be required to sit an assessment (exam question) on this text at the end of the Spring Term. In preparation for this, we would like to also invite them to watch the live performance of the play,
- Year 9: Students in Year 9 are also welcome to join us on this trip, if they would like to. However, priority will be given to pupils in Years 10 and 11 to purchase tickets.
*Please be aware that this trip takes place during the same week as the Andorra ski trip.
